What a day! This morning started a day of sadness, work, and excitement. I
woke up early this morning to find my brothers horse escaped from his wood
and wire confinement and in my iris bed stomping my new plantings to death.
Needless to say I planted all of them back and prayed that they would
re-establish themselves.
Later in the morning while working in my beds I saw the mail-carrier driving
up my driveway. In his hands was my order from Comanche Acres Iris Gardens.
I was elated. The rhizomes were monster and the extras pleasing. I like
Jim's breeding program he has going and am always interested in what Space
ager stuff he has. As an extra I got THRILLING EXPERIENCE (J.Hedgecock 95).
I like the "spoons" on this one.
I would definetly recommend Comanche Acres to anyone looking for a good
company to order from.
