RE: Hybridizing - Seed set

I have long suspected that I get the best seed set on warm summer evenings. The crossed made as the weather cools down in the evening seems to have more takes. This would seem to be as the pollen then has cooler moister conditions to do its stuff. Has anyone else noticed this?
