OT: Re: CULT: Solarization

Don; I was making light of the term " Local Topsoil". It is a mixture
of clay, small gravel and sand. We too, have the ubiquitous red clay
which was compressed into a siltstone. The most worthless stone known
to man. Leave it for a day, the moisture evaporates and the stone
crumbles. Pick it up today or umpteen million pieces tommorrow.

There is a story of the first settlers using the red siltstone to
build chimneys. The first fire, the chimneys literally fell apart.

It gives me an opportunity to thank you and Linda, Kathey Button,
Char Randall, Arnold and a host of others for their help. I had
neglected to do so in the initial message.
