A clean up of all dead leaves and debris spring and fall with no chemicals used will work better than Cygon or Merit with no clean up. IMHO

Margie; I would not recommend cygon to you. I mmentioned it because
it was used in the study. Iris borer deterrent was discussed on iris-
talk and is in the archives. If I remember correctly the consensus
was not good.
