So how many years do I have to shoot hoops to reach a 30% average? :-<
Although successes this year did follow more or less a normal
distribution, there were those two days in the middle when I got as many
pods as I really needed.  As for you, it was the later blooms that were
more likely to set pods.  Not necessarily on the cultivars I especially
wanted tho. It sure would be nice to be able to know when it's the day
that it's going to work.

When I made the pallida crosses, I had about a 30% success rate, but I
was only trying to set pods on about 6 blooms, and I put lots of pollen
on them morning noon and night.
