What are those strong historics?
I am finding that SDB and medians are theh ardiest in my garden. an old
fashion version of Edith Wolford ie. yellow/violet BB is unarguably the
hardiest. I fianally went next door to my neighbor to ask for some of his yellw/reb BB
that bloom for atleast a month and are fruitful and hardy too. These are ones
I want to work with. Although due to borer this year what I hand polinated
just melted away. What pollinated by itself and only noted two pods, may be
saying look at me I am hardy.
Now that I am trying to hybridize I may have to join the AIS again and learn
all that technical stuff.'
Althought I still love telling the people the best way of planting is to
follow Walter Moores advice and " step on 'em"
