didn't mean to confuse you. RASPERRY WINE is not a known flattie.
I did have one flat bloom this season on a stunted stalk. It was the
earliest stalk of 3 to emerge, but the last to bloom. That one stalk didn't
even manage to get above the foliage, but the other two got tall enough to
fall over in the wind.
Up until this discussion I had been operating under the assumption that it
was frost damage. However, I had no other signs (that I know of) of damage
from that last cold snap.
So anyway, now I'm wondering if it really was frost or really was a sport...
