I have the PT-1700 which uses 1/4 to 1/2 inch tape. I also use the TZ-131
tape which is black lettering on clear tape. It is 1/2 inch tall and allows a
double row of letters on the typical Paw Paw type marker. I have been using
this for two years now and haven't had any labels grow faint or begin to peel.
