OT: P Touch Labels

I have a PTouch 1750 and I purchased 7 cartridges of 1/2" x 26' black on white TZ tape for 75.25 postage paid. I purchased it on line from Image Supply. I also have a PTouch 1200 which uses a TZ tape that is often a bit less expensive. I have used the TZ tape for three years on the Paw Paw markers. The shorter markers tend to get bent and the tape comes loose from them after about two years. The tall markers have survived three years and look good. The print does not seem to fade. The tape does sometimes become brittle in our bright sun in summer and freezing snow and ice in winter.
I have been warned to check the tape length when purchasing tape. Apparently some of the "bargain" tapes can have less than 26' in the cartridge.
With the current internet worm problems some on line sellers are not able to receive their orders or are not accepting orders but you will receive a confirmation from Image Supply when you order. They shipped my order promptly.

I went to Google to search for PTouch supplies and was sent to a site which had customer ratings of the supplier and I checked the price, including shipping, on those which had excellent ratings. Sometimes the base price was quite a bit less than most other suppliers but entering my zip code and getting shipping costs added some of them were notably more expensive. I also took advantage of the minimum order amount in order to receive the free shipping.
