Iris lover,

Shanny Orange was introduced in 2001 by Grumbine so you are correct that
Grumbine would be a real good source to contact. Regarding the convention
rhizomes, I just happen to have the Shanny Orange convention disposition
instructions and it was the typical one to host garden and the rest to the
region. Barring last minute changes, Nicholson's and Sutton's should have
Shanny Orange.

   Concerning Shanny Orange,  Nicholsons and Suttons just "Hosted" this
iris.  Nothing more.  It is up to the hybridizer as to what he wants done
with the iris after the convention is over.  He could have the iris sent
back to him, have it destroyed, or have it given away.  The best bet would
be for Jim to contact Mark Grumbine (the hybridizer)  His address is 1315
