Concerning Shanny Orange, Nicholsons and Suttons just "Hosted" this iris. Nothing more. It is up to the hybridizer as to what he wants done with the iris after the convention is over. He could have the iris sent back to him, have it destroyed, or have it given away. The best bet would be for Jim to contact Mark Grumbine (the hybridizer) His address is 1315 Pride Gap Cove, Cabot, AR 72023

Jim,

Nicholson's and Sutton's both hosted Shanny Orange and both are commercial
gardens. I would recommend contacting them about their plans for Shanny
Orange.

At the Iris convention in Fresno, several gardens had an Iris named Shanny
Orange.; It's a 2001 introduction from Mark Grumbine.  I haven't seen it
offered for sale in the catalogs I have.  Does anybody know more about this
iris?
