Cricket Damage to TB Iris

Thanks for the information about the crickets in my previous post. I neglected to ask if there is anything that I should do to "treat" the scarred places on the rhizomes where the crickets had eaten, or if I should let nature heal itself? The latter option was what I had assumed.
