RE: OT-AIS Members-Symposium Ballot

Even if your "iris specialty" is other than Tall Bearded irises, please cast 
your ballot in the 
AIS Tall Bearded Symposium.

The AIS Symposium is an annual popularity poll of Tall Bearded Iris conducted 
by the AIS. All AIS members may vote. The top 100 Tall Bearded iris are 
ranked. The results of the symposium each year are published in the AIS Bulletin. 

All AIS members received the AIS Tall Bearded Symposium Ballot in the July 
AIS Bulletin. Instructions are on each ballot indicating that it is to be 
returned to the RVP of the Region in which the member resides.  The deadline for the 
RVP to receive Symposium Ballots from 
members is September 1. 

All memberships that receive a symposium ballot are eligible to vote it.  
This includes not only memberships belonging to persons, but also memberships 
belonging to affiliates, clubs and libraries.  No member should vote for more 
than 25 varieties.  Please read the instructions carefully. 

The AIS website www.irises.org shows the AIS Regions with the name and 
address for all RVPs as well as having a copy of the ballot.  The RVP now has the 
option of accepting ballots by e-mail (by number or name) so contact him/her to 
see if they will accept by e-mail.

This is an opportunity for all AIS members to have a say in naming the 100 
Favorite Irises so please vote!
