Cult: Personal Names on Iris --the History??

 Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if someone has kept a data base of iris named after people and
the people's history?  If not a data base, possibly interest in some
particular iris named after a person that you'd be willing to share.  I'm
slowly going through AIS Registrar just to get a list but -- if there is one
out there already, maybe you wouldn't mind sharing.

I became aware of this, even more so this year, w the death of Beverly Sills
from lung cancer. And of course w Rosalie's death last yr. Wow, what a
history in the iris world.

I'm wondering if there is another pink iris named after someone that had
breast cancer??

Still thinking of that houseboat surrounded w floating iris beds on a lake
somewhere!!!!!!!! HA!!!!!!

 I've always wanted to live on a house boat--not a yacht.
I mean, how long can one person sit in a hot tub and look at the blue??
