I just call it a yellow plicata. To be sure, a yellow on ivory plicata would
put one beyond doubts. I had a good yellow on white plicata and was
considering it for introduction, but decided not to. I shall be looking
forward to your letter. Lots of rain this August, but at least ten degrees F
lower than last year, so the iris are greening up nicely. I have a nice
flower open today from CLARENCE. It is a white with promiment violet plicata
markings at the haft. I hope to have something to take with me to Region 4
Fall Show in Oct. (9). Lloyd.
