This iris is a British cultivar. I do not know the breeder, J. R. Ellis, but
the person doing the registering of this cross for J. R. Ellis is Anne Blanco
White, past president of the British Iris Society. Whether it is available
commercially in England or not, I do not know and rather doubt it. Ms White
also registered four other species crosses for Ellis last year. All are
crosses of I. pseudacorus X I. versicolor: SEUVER FOURSES, SEUVER PUNCH,
SEUVER SYLLABUB, and SEUVER THRUMENTY. Source of my information is the 1995
Regisistrations and Introductions published by the AIS. If you are
interested in knowing more about these I suggest you might write Anne and ask
