I like my Microsoft "Complete Gardening" cd. You can search for plants
according to various characteristics, i.e. light requirements, color, water
requirements, etc. in order to plan your garden according to the USDA zone
you live in. It has a section for diagnosing problems, also garden 'tours'
(pictures of gardens from various parts of the U.S. with a narrator (sound)
describing the garden & its features. Also a plant encyclopedia for just
looking up a plant, seeing a picture of it, and if you want, hearing its
latin name pronounc
