Re: Rebloomers for the north?

In response to your questions concerning reblooming iris for the
north....Lloyd Zurbrigg, now in Durham, NC, formerly 29 years in Radford VA,
originally from Listowel, Ont. Canada. Each place has had its own coterie of
rebloomers,.Here in Durham the climate is really TOO HOT in summer. Chuck
Chapman grows many rebloomers in Guelph, Ont.Canada I saw his garden this
spring, and he tells me he had some iris in bloom all of last year's growing
season. BABY BLESSED does
well most sites, a yellow SDB. Earl Hall's JEWEL BABY also does well in
northern gardens. IMMORTALITY does wonderfully in many northern gardens.
Hope this is of some help.
