I wonder what those rainfall rates were - something tells me they are common
in this area. We average 50 inches or more of rain/year, and that average
includes a 5 yr drought, with one year of only 32 inches. In response to my
request for information about rot resistance in varieties from Cooleys, they
told me to avoid too much water. Sure. Put up a tent.

Yup. Except I don't have much exuberant rot - those all died a long time
ago.
