I visited a local iris grower this summer who had done just what Carolyn
described with the sunken plastic lined JI beds in the ground. Apparently
this grower did it more to assure constant moisture rather than with the
idea of allowing the soil to be changed out at some point. I like
Carolyn's idea of making a raised bed lined with plastic. Anyone have
opinions on how deep it would need to be for JI's?
