Actually, Lois, this has been my experience with EDITH WOLFORD too. It is so
beautiful when it does perform...but I have had to wait 4 years between good
performances. Sometimes when an iris performs this way, its performance can
be improved by digging and replanting every year...of course, I'm not in
favor of promoting irises that require such work intensive care to do well.
