It's hard to tell if the alfalfa is making the rot any worse or not, but
there is definitely more rot out there after all the heavy rain a few weeks
ago followed by high heat and humidity, and it's worse in the established
beds where i put all the alfalfa. As always, more worser for some varieties
than others.
Out in the plowed rows, without alfalfa, rhizomes covered with soil, there is
less rot, but it's newer ground.
Too many confounding variables!
