No rocket scientists' quark equations needed here (no offense Tom).  ALL of this
years
lesser-than-Dykes Medal winners are in the same category!  They are only
eligible for the Dykes Medal AFTER winning their specific category medal (i.e.
Morgan-Wood, Payne, etc) which was this year.  All will be put on the Ballot for
contender for the Dykes Medal NEXT year.  That is when you vote for/against
them.
