Iris Bed

I have started working on making a bed to put Iris in. I've started
by using my old rock hound hammer to brake up the dirt and get down
past the layer of p-gravel that's part of the fill. Also taking out
the grass roots and now I've got a trickle of water flowing into the
2ft wide by 1ft long area to soften it up a bit. I hope to have a
2ft wide by 5ft long area by tuesday. After I've screened the soil
[Ha! if you can call it that!] I'll replace it back in the area and
add some of my other garden soil to it too. I hope the Iris I get
will like this Hawaiian sunshine which is one step away from full
force Nuke blast.
