Re: Nut Sedge


As another Mesilla valley transplant, I TOO was wondering what this was.
Now in east Texas, I now recognize this invasive pest.  My beds are growing
a bumper crop of this.  I was gonna ask this morning what this was, when the
other Sharon did so and got such a great answer.

I have found, here, that if I water in the evening and then pull these the
next day, they will come up MOSTLY times intact.

Now I know the name of this pest in the iris beds.  If I could only keep the
names of the irises in such good order and keep the tags in place, and......
