.of course, the leaves of versicolor have black spots when
you hold them up to the light....it being a water lover....and the leaves of
a Siberian do not have the black spots.  Clarence Mahan in VA

I will look at these leaves first thing tomorrow !! Will pseudocorus also
have the black spots??
