Bauer and Coble-CIS Meeting

The Canadian Iris Society is pleased to announce that Bob Bauer and John
Coble of Ensata Gardens will attend our Annual General Meeting on
Saturday, September 21, 1996 for a speaking engagement. Their
presentation will be on the topic of Beardless iris; Japanese and
Siberian iris. Should be excellent!

The meeting will take place at the (RBG) Royal Botanical Gardens,
Burlington, Ontario (RBG Central Building) from 10:00am to approx
3:00pm. The RBG is located at 680 Plains Road West, Burlington, Ontario.
The RBG telephone number is 905-527-1158. If you are from out of town
the RBG itself is definitely worth the drive and you could explore the
extensive gardens for another whole day if you wished to do so. A
wonderful sit-down luncheon is included in the cost as well as many
other activities such as our 50th anniversary celebration. A beardless
iris sale and auction will also be held.

So, if you would like to attend this interesting event and hear all
about these irises, please feel welcome to attend. This event is open to
all people interested in irises, not just Canadian Iris Society
members(although we certainly wouldn't be averse to you joining!).
Pre-registration is required (because of the food and seating
arrangements)
