Where are you Chris? By posting, I'd guess you're in Maine. We are beyond
drought jokes here in East Nassau, this being the third consecutive year with
summer drought. When those books talk about the "high rainfall northeast"
dont' believe it.
The newspapers are showing cornfields with tiny deprived cornplants and sad
farmers. I have muscles from carrying water to the iris transplants.
On Maine organizations, no doubt our own Ellen Gallagher will write to you -
our resident New England expert.
Couldn't take another drought comment!!!!
