OT: gladioli (was Order complaints)

Ross was comparing iris catalogs and gladiolus catalogs:

"I got burned this spring by a gladiolus
supplier, who, I sadly  learned later, has a marginal reputation. You
certainly couldn't tell it from the catalogue! "

So, Ross, or anybody else out there, for that matter, do you know anything 
about Gladiolus delenii?  I got the seeds from SIGNA last year and finally got 
around to planting them this year and now have some slender seedlings, but I 
have no idea whether this is a frost-tender species, or basically what do I do 
with them now?  Dahliaman will understand why I ordered this species with 
absolutely no knowledge of its requirements or of where it comes from.  My 
little guys are still in six-packs on the windowsill, by the way.
