Sodium Hypochlorite does exist as a solid but with a variety of other =
additives. These are in the form of tablets for pools, the granular HTH =
for pool cleaning, and of course the dry bleach and cleaners. In the =
dry form the Chlorine, the reactive agents slightly less stable, doesn't =
like staying at home and working, would rather wander off into the big =
wide world.

I am living in Kittery now so I am as far South in Maine as you can =
get. My gardens are about an hour North of here, up the New Hampshire =
border near Rochester.
My addiction to the wonders of Iris is fairly recent, but I have been =
an avid gardener for very long time and came by it genetically from my =
Mother. I have been amazed at the amounts of information shared here =
and have thought that I really wouldn't be able to contribute much =
because of the expertise I am seeing. I really admire you folks.
