AIS: AIS bulletin and related issues

Greetings:

We received our Bulletin several days ago and, yes, it is a good one. The
cover has a shot of the garden of Owings Rebert of Maryland, who has one of
the more disinguished collections of historic irises in the country. Also
included with this bulletin were two important enclosures: the annual
Symposium, an opportunity to vote for cultivars you have noticed were
particularly worthy, and notice of proposed amendments to the AIS bylaws.
Both are important and deserve our attention.
