Bulletin and symposium arrival

Hi all, the post office has come through with flying colors. Even with the
UPS strike causing an overload on all other shipping businesses , the mail
came on schedual.

My last bloom of I. versicolor- Party Line has wilted. that doll bloomed for
over a month even if it did wait until  the other versicolors were long gone.
I . tridentata did not bloom as profusely as usual this year but it did show
it's colors.

Anyone who knows Carole and Bev Breedlove may want to know that Bev died
today from cancer. 

Pirce County Iris Society will be having the annual rhizome sale at Poole's
Nursery next Sat. Aug 16 from 8:30 until 4 pm. Ya'll come!

where it was a beautiful evening to go canoeing on the Puget Sound to watch
the sunset, after a day of digging dividing and bleaching iris rhizomes.
