I've also seen this stuff--really peculiar looking. I thought at first the
dog had contributed yet another pile of some stinking but yummy thing that
his stomach just couldn't handle...it also occurred on an area heavily
covered with wood chips; the Siberian/Japanese bed. Thank you for the
informative explanation, Bill--the expertise on this list truly is amazing.
