Bill,
My guess is that it may have been those "certain trees". I was told by the
local expert at the garden shop - who generally has given me good advice. I
can't at this point even remember what tree(s) we were talking about. I may
even be mistaken (I know, I know - but it IS possible!) about sawdust as
one of our "no, nos.
The 'general' garden advice works for _most_ of the country...we in the
Alky West need to be aware that we are NOT the norm!
