Rusty,
It dosen't sound like your large gray areas are rot, especially if they
are not soft. However it would not hurt to give them a clorox bath.
Give all your incoming iris the bath. I recently received some iris
that were infected with Mustard Seed Fungus. Overnight would be
excessive at your 1 to 8 ratio. 30 minutes would be enough.
