I'm listening, Linda, but I don't have I. pallida. Do have Zebra, but it's
not ready to divide till next year. I think most of didn't answer because we
assumed somebody else out there must have it and would respond.
Barb in Santa Fe where QUEEN DOROTHY is blooming unfazed in the club's
memorial garden.

In line with the suggestion to grow types of plants that don't require
major inputs of energy, water, and soil amendments - a while back I
asked if anyone knew of a source of mid-season or later blooming
cultivars of I. pallida. I didn't get any response - does this mean
there aren't any or nobody knows of any?
Or am I on the 'delete' list?
