OT: Iris Art

Dear Friends on the List,
	Now that our iris are out of bloom, except for those of us lucky to have 
rebloomers that are behaving themselves by performing early, iris art is 
especially satisfying.  I went to Alysue's page and was very impressed with 
her computer art.  She has changed her site and has added new updates.
	I had lots of fun this weekend by decorating my mailbox with huge iris 
illustrations for the benefit of all who drive by and view.  I painted it 
white and did the iris in black so they really stand out.  Then I added 
IRIS HEAVEN at the top which I thought was very funny but Steve wasn't so 
sure he appreciated that.
	I was also excited to get an Olympus OM-1 camera this weekend.  It is the 
same model that Steve uses and I hope he can teach me his methods with 
photograhy. A good picture can be very satisfying when there are no fresh 
blooms to gaze upon.
