Having worked really hard in my gardens over the last couple of weekends
I was amused when a friend allowed as to how she was going to the gym to
work out. "Hell," I thought to myself as I felt my aching muscles, "I
don't need a gym. I have a garden."
As I retagged all my iris this last week, all you hybridizers out there
who insist on putting long names on your creations have earned my
eternal wrath. "Anna Belle Babson" my foot!
For those of you who grow other things: out of curiosity I put some
alfalfa pellets in with our tomatoes this spring, and we are having the
best tomato crop ever!
