Folks:  I was really riled about this situation, but I think the
Pocklingtons are not only trying to straighten it out but probably are
really doing it.  

What do we gain, now that he's out of it,  by trashing poor Gifford, who
volunteered to do a job that was too much for him and didn't bail out fast
enough?  If anyone is to blame, it is the IRS board who were aware of the
problem for a considerable time before they took action.  But, whoah!  They
had to replace a volunteer with another volunteer.  Volunteers really don't
grow on trees, or in iris beds.  Not too many of us stepped forward and
offered our basements.

I would like to see more posts thanking the Pocklingtons for taking it over
and doing it, and fewer beating a dead horse.  It's OK to be annoyed, but
let's not hold a grudge.
