To all,
I am really tired, tired, tired of the postings on AIS missing orders.
What do I belong to here? If you have sent money to an address sanctioned
by the national organization and have not received your order you are due
some acknowledgement.
It is of no use to beat up on Mr. Gifford any more, or any new person
covering his poor performance. Examining his personality will not help one
bit, he has already received all the brickbats necessary and the rest of us
while perhaps not outraged are bored by it all.
Why in world does the national organization not acknowledge anyone who has
sent money and come up empty-handed. If a letter of acknowledgement was
sent, the moneys returned and directions to re-order when the store was in
order all of this carping would not have taken place. The black eye AIS has
received for this escapade is shameful.
Coming from the business world I learned early on we had not business w/o
customers, and if we did not treat customers well we would have no business.
Since losing members is a plant society's major problem these days why oh
why has this situation been allowed to rankle the faithful.
Those members not receiving their orders should be reimbursed immediately,
regardless of their check status. A new order policy should be stated and an
apology to all harmed should be issued. Do we have an officers in charge of
public relations. Do we have officers in charge of daily operations. If we
cannot operate this store efficiently the staff should be paid. Many
organization pay stipends to those members assuming heavier responsibilities.
Please somebody in charge apologize to those AIS members w/o orders and
return their money. Next membership pay-up they may not be there.
And............those of us who have no orders hanging fire can have relief
from these members using the only forum available to them.
Apologetically inclined,
