You quoted my entire .sig as if to say I'd begun the subject.  I wrote
the one above paragraph because I'm trying to understand the situation.
It's one in which I could have found myself as a younger person but
would like to think I've outgrown.  It's more of a "would but for the
grace of God go I?" question... wondering whether I too could (for
whatever reason) find myself in the same pickle.  Not beating a dead
horse.

Amen to the Pocklingtons, kudos to volunteers everywhere (though I am a
young working mother and actually get jealous of folks with time to
volunteer!  I'd love to volunteer for some things but can't -- truly, I
am overcommitted).... I just wanted you to understand from whence I am
coming.
