Yup, we got crows & ravens & even turkey buzzards but Scrub Oaks aren't
exactly trees to roost in, more like overgrown shrubs. Can't really
imagine even big birds hauling iris rhizomes into the air -- possible, I
s'pose, but they would have had to carry them quite a long way.

Only what "my" elk has been eating or uprooting. And I think it would be
an even better hoot if it turned out to be EDITH WOLFORD or BATIK...
