re: story about Prunes and  Prisms-- this twas essentially the same story told me by my Grandmother, who used to make us sit and practice being a lady--and never say petit pois--or our mouths would be too big!  Always thought that when I grew up I would like to name a flower that--guess somebody beat me to it!     Carryl in western Montana--where July of this year broke the all time record for rain (same as for June)--just had TWO DAYS OF THUNDER BOOMERS AND HORRIBLE WINDS--and hail--really good for the replants!  Got my order in from Tom Burseen--even with the hot weather there--the rhizomes are huge with lots of little starts--look great!
