Sometimes irises are registered a few years before they are
introduced...such as Walter Moores' ARIL REVERIE (registered 1988,
introduced 1990). When will an iris such as this officially be "historic?"
I guess what I'm really asking is about my database. I have a field for
"year". Which year is generally more important? The year of registration
or the year of introduction? Or should I just track both?
