HELP!!! I need to know the color of Dauntless--the l929 Dykes
winner--cannot find it in the earliest Check List that I have--l949, cannot
find the color listed in any old catalogues from '40's & '50's which I
have . . .

The 1939 AIS Checklist records the color of DAUNTLESS as 'R9D' according to
the coding system in use then, which translates as "deep red bitone".
frazzled and cooked to medium well--been planting in club Iris garden all
day--finally decided it was hot, and on the way home fouind out it was 102
today--yikes!!
Come on South, and cool off. It's only 88 here!
