Karen,
I bit the bullet this year and I have been purchasing the checklists in
small portions. I just sent for the three to cover 1990, 1991, and
1992. Next I will go backward from 1969. Our club has copies of the
lists; but, we don't allow them to be checked out. You have to use them
at the meetings. I had toyed with the idea of waiting until the 1999
checklist was available; but, decided that since my garden has mostly
newer varieites that it would be a good idea to start sooner rather than
later. To my surprise the annual checklists have a bonus that the ten
year ones don't. In the back ther is a cross reference by hybridizer
and commercial garden of the cultivars registered or introduced that
year. It is too bad that that portion does not appear in the ten year
books.
