Hi Ginny,
My TB's make out just fine here in zone 3 (-30 to -40C). Some say our neck
of the woods is sometimes zone 2 (-40 to -50C). Haven't had to worry about
no snow cover either with the exception of last year when "winter" didn't
arrive to stay until Boxing Day and left by the middle of March. Otherwise
we are usually completely covered from mid-November to mid-April.
Don't grow stetosas yet but I'm sure I will eventually.
