Gone

From: starlord@ptw.com (Slc.Dennis Bishop)

Well, this time I think I've lost 'Ask alma' for good, and not
because of anything I did!

Today I heard a 'Murder' of Crows out in the southside driveway
from the trailer park. I went out just to see what they were
trying to eat. What it was they didn't seem to be having much
luck with it.

I got out there an they flew off and sat on the wall and told me
their opion of me.

What did I find? an Iris Rhz! So I looked at it (what was left
that is) and as I'm the only one growing Iris went back and
started checking the Iris bed and sure enough, Ask Alma and it's
one little start were gone! I put what was left in a pot, but I
don't hold much luck out for it. This is the one time I wished
I'id had a shotgun! So now I'm putting up stings with things
hanging from it to keep the crows out of the Iris bed.
