I too grow (or try to grow) Witch's Wand. I have had it for at least
three years and all it ever did was put up small, green onion-like
increase. Last year it put up a wimpy stalk with about 4 flowers and
again put up wimpy increase. I moved it to a different location and this
year it didn't bloom but I have one very large increase ( which is not
saying much) and it sure looks much happier than in years past. I am
hoping if I leave it undisturbed it will continue to be happy and maybe
some year in the near future it will bloom again for me. Why do I put up
with this?

P.S. Last year ...being thoroughly disgusted with WW's performance I
dug it up and threw it in the waste can......only to fish it out a few
minutes later.....to plant it in it's present location.......perhaps the
serious threat of becoming worm food did the trick....WHO KNOWS!!!
