HELP!!
I live in Goldsboro, NC, zone 8, and
I have two TB irises (unknown) that I have had for several
years. Last week I went out to water and had one that was turning
yellow. When I touched one of the leaves it just fell off, as did all the
others. Now this week, another one! The rhizomes are a little mushy
on the top, but otherwise seem to be in pretty good shape. I found no
little pests or anything on or around the rhizomes. What could this be and
what can I do about the mushy part? Both rhizomes are putting on new
growth and I don't want to lose any.
Thanks for your help,
Leslie Liddiard
